Wolf Den Run State Park
Wolf Den Run State Park (WDRSP) is Maryland’s first State Park that offers ORV recreation as well as opportunities for hiking, biking, fishing, birdwatching, and hunting. The Park has four sections: Campground, Huckleberry Rocks Area, North Hill Area, and Potomac River Area.
WDRSP offers a campground with currently 10 primitive campsites with a fire ring and picnic table. Reservations are required. The area is undeveloped with no running water or bathhouse. A porta potty is available. The Park plans to expand the camping area, create stabilized pads, and construct a bathhouse.

The park has three sections: Huckleberry Rocks Area, North Hill Area and Potomac River Area. The North Hills Area and the Potomac River Area are connected Coal Haul Road. The majority are accessible by full-sized vehicles although longer vehicles may not be able to traverse all the trails as some have very tight turns. Some trails are restricted to ORVs less than 64″ wide. The MDOHVA is working with the Park to create some single-track for motorcycles.
